Frequently asked questions

Plain answers to the questions we hear most. If something's missing, text us — (610) 674-0241.

Delivery & Service Area

Where do you deliver?

Within 100 miles of Bethlehem, PA. This covers most of the Lehigh Valley, the Poconos, and parts of northern NJ and southern NY. No shipping — every build is personally hand-delivered by the builder. Enter your ZIP at checkout and the delivery fee is calculated automatically.

What are the delivery fees?

Free within 15 miles of Bethlehem. $25 for 15–40 miles. $50 for 40–70 miles. $75–100 for 70–100 miles. The exact fee is quoted at checkout based on your ZIP code — no surprises.

Do you ship?

No. Every build is hand-delivered by the person who built it. This isn't a policy limitation — it's intentional. You get to meet your builder, ask questions, and we can do a quick setup walkthrough on the spot. Shipping a PC also introduces real damage risk; hand delivery eliminates it.

Lead Times

How long until I get my PC?

In-stock builds: typically delivered within the same week of purchase — often within a few days depending on your location.

Built-to-order / custom builds: 2–3 weeks from confirmed order. The timeline is: spec agreement → parts order → build → stress test → delivery. You get updates at each stage, not silence.

What's the difference between in-stock and built-to-order?

In-stock builds are already assembled, tested, and ready to go — you order, we schedule delivery. Built-to-order means we configure and build your machine after you order, which allows for more flexible spec choices but takes longer. Both go through the same stress test before delivery.

Specs & What You're Getting

What does "specs may vary" mean?

We publish guaranteed minimums. Your build will meet or exceed every listed spec — same tier of CPU, equal or better GPU, same or more RAM and storage. If a specific part becomes unavailable, we substitute something equivalent or better and tell you before anything ships. You are never getting a downgrade.

Are the parts new or refurbished?

It's listed on every product page. New builds use new retail parts. Refurbished builds use quality-tested used parts that pass our stress test — priced lower to reflect that. You always know which you're getting before you order.

What's the 3DMark score?

A standardized GPU benchmark that lets you compare builds objectively — higher means faster in games and GPU workloads. We run the actual benchmark on every completed build and publish the real score so you're not guessing at performance.

What's the Value Score?

Our internal rating (1–10) of how much performance you get per dollar at that price point. A 9/10 means it's an exceptional deal relative to retail — you'd pay significantly more buying parts yourself. A 6/10 means it's priced at market rate — still fair, just not a steal.

Warranty & Returns

What's covered under warranty?

Every part in the build for 30 days from delivery. If anything fails — hardware or our workmanship — we fix or replace it, come to you, and handle it personally. No mail-in, no support tickets, no "open a case" runaround.

What if I'm not happy with the build?

Contact us within 30 days. We'll work to make it right first — upgrade a part, swap something out, fix whatever the issue is. If we genuinely can't satisfy you, we'll discuss a return. We'd rather fix it than lose a customer. Text (610) 674-0241 directly.

What happens after 30 days?

Manufacturer warranties on individual parts kick in — most components carry 1–3 year warranties from the manufacturer. We'll still help you navigate those; you're not on your own. The 1-on-1 support line stays open indefinitely.

Payment & Security

Is checkout secure?

Yes. All transactions are processed through Shopify's SSL-encrypted checkout. We accept credit and debit cards, Shop Pay, PayPal, and Shop Pay Installments for qualifying orders. We never see or store your card details.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes, through Shop Pay Installments. Eligible orders can be split into 4 interest-free payments. The option appears at checkout automatically if your order qualifies.

Do you accept deposits for custom builds?

Custom build invoices are typically paid in full before parts are ordered — this is standard for custom work and protects both sides. For larger builds ($2,500+), we can discuss a 50/50 deposit structure. Bring it up when we're finalizing your spec.

Custom Builds

How does the custom build process work?

Submit the intake form → we respond same day with questions or an initial spec → you approve the spec and price → we invoice → parts ordered, build starts → you get updates at each stage → stress test → delivery. Typical timeline 2–3 weeks start to finish.

Can I request specific parts?

Yes. Tell us in the intake form. We'll let you know if a specific part conflicts with your budget or use case — otherwise we source it. There's no extra charge for sourcing specific components; it's already part of the process.

Do you build workstations, not just gaming PCs?

Yes. Content creation, 3D rendering, home studio production, WFH productivity — we build for any compute use case. Budget, software requirements, and workflow help us spec the right machine. Mention it in the intake form.

Refurbished Builds

What does "refurbished" mean for your builds?

Used components that pass our stress test — minimum 24-hour burn-in under full load. Any part that fails or shows instability is replaced before the build ships. Refurbished builds are priced lower to reflect the used components; the quality standard is the same.

Are refurbished parts reliable?

Yes, when tested properly. A used GPU that passes a 24-hour stress test has already been through the early-failure window that catches factory defects. In practice, a tested used component is often more reliable than a new one that's never been run hard. Our process exists to catch failures before they reach you.
